1 simple concept to become truly happy!

Don’t love what you have now more than what you’ll get from God in the future!

It’s a simple concept, but one that can lead to many future rewards:

Pastors: We can’t love the people we have now more than the people that God is going to give us in the future. If we do, we will stagnate our churches and ministries. The people who have yet to know Christ through us are just as important as the people who are being reached every week.

Church people: Don’t love what you have now more than what God has promised you. Is investing your time into a ministry now worth it? Anything you do to proclaim God will never returns void (Isaiah 55:11). Is the money that you have now worth more to you than the promised blessing God gives to those who are generous? It seems that the Bible promises awesome blessings to those who give (Malachi 3:10-12; 2 Corinthians 9:7). Do you value your life now more than the life God wants to give you? It seems as though we make a huge mistake, as our future glory surpasses anything that we could imagine now (Romans 8:18, 23; John 10:10).

To those who don’t have a relationship with Jesus: It’s easy to dismiss what God wants to do in your life. Sure, there have been many who have shamed true Christianity with their sexual scandals, lack of financial integrity, or their skewed interpretation of the Bible. However, consider the following:

Spiritual mediocrity is NOT the desire of God for your life!

Jesus didn’t save your life to make it worse, but to make it better! (John 10:10)

With that thought, I’ve witnessed so many people languish in a half hearted Christianity, whereby they have an affinity to Jesus, but whose lives do not reflect the transformation that leads to the best life possible.

If only they knew that living all out for God is the BEST thing that you can do for yourself! I encourage you to let go of all your inhibitions and give your all to Jesus.
